The most common situations with signing in, permissions and the licence. Questions before buying are on a separate page.
Questions before choosing a systemOn the sign-in screen choose “Forgot your password?” and enter the account email address. A secure link to set a new password will arrive.
A new password has at least 10 characters. The system rejects common passwords and ones containing the login or the workshop name.
After five wrong passwords within 15 minutes the system stops sign-in to that account from that address. The lock lifts by itself after 15 minutes.
Don’t want to wait? On the lock screen ask for a link that restores access right away. An administrator can also unlock the account in Users.
Two-step sign-in has no backup codes. Ask the workshop administrator to remove it from your account in Users, then switch it on again on the new phone after signing in.
The session ends after a period of inactivity: 30 minutes by default. The owner can set 45 to 240 minutes in Session and security.
Each module has the level Edit, View or Disabled for every account. A new account has all modules disabled, so they need to be switched on in Users.
The form needs customers, vehicles and VAT rates to be set up, and the shortcut is shown to people allowed to edit customers.
On a phone or a screen narrower than 768 px the system opens the mobile version if the account has Mobile access. “Show the full application” returns to the full view.
The import accepts a CSV file of up to 5 MB, 5000 rows and 60 columns. A row is a customer and optionally their vehicle; duplicates by tax number, email, phone, VIN and registration number are skipped.
The licence status and the next payment date are in Settings, on the Licence tab. Only the account owner can pay, with the “Pay now” button.
The activity log records changes in the application: who, when, which action, on which record and from which IP address. Deleted records have a separate tab.
