01What it is
A reservation earmarks a quantity of a product from stock for an open job in the same location. The available quantity drops at once, physical stock only when the part is issued to the job.
A reservation has the statuses Reserved, Issued and Released. Closing or cancelling a job releases its reservations.
The module shows in extended mode, which you switch on in Settings › Workshop, and works once there are products in the catalogue.
- THE PART WAITS FOR THE CAR
- A reserved quantity will not go to another job.
- NOT COVERED
- A tile shows products whose reservations exceed stock.
- FROM THE CALCULATION
- A job item creates and updates its own reservation.
02What it is for
No fights over a part
Two jobs will not use the same part.
Know what will run short
The Not covered tile shows reservations with no goods on the shelf.
Issue in one click
Issuing a reservation takes the part off stock and marks the job item.
Honest available
The Stock screen shows the available quantity after reservations.
03Main options
Reservations have a list with tiles, a new reservation form and row actions. A job calculation item can also create a reservation.

- Columns: product, job, location, physical stock, reserved, available, status
- Filters: status, location, job

A reservation from a job item
Two options on a calculation item.
