Stock visible without checking the shelves
A date promised to a customer without knowing stock levels often has to be moved later.
The system shows physical stock, availability after reservations and deliveries on the way.
A missing part holds up a bay, and a part used without being recorded never reaches the settlement. Stock managed together with jobs removes both causes of loss.
STOCKRESERVATIONORDER
A date promised to a customer without knowing stock levels often has to be moved later.
The system shows physical stock, availability after reservations and deliveries on the way.A part prepared for one job is sometimes used on another, and the shortage only comes to light at fitting.
A reservation assigns the part to a job and reduces available stock.Without the purchase price, the margin on parts is only an estimate, and consumables are often left out altogether.
Purchase and sale prices are kept separately, and usage is charged to the job.Parts, consumables and tools are linked to jobs. Usage reduces stock and goes into the job cost without separate entry.
STOCKORDERSRESERVATIONSCOST
The parts catalogue shows physical stock, availability after reservations, storage location, and purchase and sale prices. Items below minimum stock are highlighted, and stock value is calculated at cost.
You add a missing part as a requirement directly on the job. Supplier orders have a status, delivery date and value, and the supplier's history shows prices and delivery punctuality.
A reservation sets a part aside for a given job and reduces available stock. The reservations register shows items reserved, issued and those not covered by stock.
You don't need to list your entire stock. The items that move most often are enough: brake pads, filters, oils. On your first job the stock level will go down with no extra steps.
You can add other items as you go, on later jobs.
