01What it is
Stock documents are goods issues (WZ) and stock transfers (MM). A goods issue takes goods off a location's stock when you hand them to a customer or a recipient not in the records. A transfer moves goods from one location to another.
A document starts as a draft. Stock changes only when you settle it. A settled document can no longer be edited or deleted.
Invoices and receipts for parts sold are issued in the workshop accounting software. The module shows in extended mode, which you switch on in Settings › Workshop.
