The tool register is the same catalogue as workshop equipment, with the tool type. Every tool belongs to a location.
A tool used in jobs, quotes, packages or a maintenance plan cannot be deleted.
The module shows in extended mode, which you switch on in Settings › Workshop.

04Tasks step by step
- STEP 1Open Modules › Tools › Tool register and choose Add a tool.
- STEP 2Enter the name and pick the location, fill in the purchase value.
- STEP 1In the job calculation add an item from the catalogue and pick the tool.
- STEP 2A Use item goes into the job with the price in the job.
