Equipment is the workshop's devices, kept in the same catalogue as tools with the equipment type. Every item belongs to a location.
Purchase value, depreciation period and cost of use are visible to people with access to finance. The retail price and price in the job let you charge the customer for using the device.
The module shows in extended mode, which you switch on in Settings › Workshop.

- STEP 1Open Modules › Tools › Workshop equipment and choose Add equipment.
- STEP 2Enter the name, pick the location, fill in the make, date and purchase value.
- STEP 3Set the price in the job if you charge customers for its use.
- STEP 1Open Modules › Tools › Maintenance and add a service plan for this device.
