01What it is
An inspection is a condition report for a specific car. It has a type: check-in, handover, bodywork, paint shop, quality check or general, and can belong to a job.
You mark a damage on the diagram as a point or an area, then pick the part, type, severity and repair status. Completing the report locks it as the final version, and you can return to editing if needed.
Inspections are also created by check-in and handover protocols. An inspection other than check-in shows check-in damage as semi-transparent markers for comparison.

Damage on the diagram
First a click or a drag on the car, then the details.

- Severity: light, moderate, severe; a part from a list of 22
- A description and up to 8 photos; for bodywork, paint and quality checks, repair details

Report progress in percent.

04Tasks step by step
- STEP 1Open Modules › Workshop › Vehicle inspections and choose New inspection.
- STEP 2Pick the car, type and job, then start the inspection.
- STEP 3Mark the damage on the diagram, add photos and complete the report.
- STEP 1In an inspection linked to a job, fill in the damage's estimated cost.
- STEP 2Choose Move to job item. The damage gets the To be quoted status.
