01What it is
Exchange rates is a table of foreign currency rates against the workshop currency. A rate shows how much of the workshop currency one unit of the foreign currency costs.
When the workshop currency is the Polish zloty, rates come from table A of the National Bank of Poland. With any other workshop currency the app uses the reference rates of the European Central Bank. You can also pick the source yourself in the workshop settings.
The menu item is visible in extended mode, which you switch on in Settings › Workshop, in the What the workshop does section.
- OFFICIAL SOURCE
- NBP table A or ECB reference rates, with no retyping.
- 15 FOREIGN CURRENCIES

- RATE HISTORY
- A chart of the last 90 days for every currency.
02What it is for
Parts from abroad
Parts orders and requirements have a purchase currency, converted at the current rate.
See what gets dearer
The rate chart shows whether a part bought abroad is getting dearer because of the currency.
Always a fresh rate
The app fetches rates by itself when you open the screen, no more often than every 20 hours.
Works offline
If fetching fails, the last known rates stay and the screen tells you so.
03Main options
The screen has four parts: tiles with the currency settings, the rate table, the amount converter and the rate over time chart.
Currency, source and last refresh
The tiles at the top show what the rates are measured against and how current they are.
- Workshop currency set at registration
- Rate source: NBP or ECB
- Date of the last refresh, or a note that rates have not been fetched yet
- Number of enabled foreign currencies

Every currency in one place
A table with columns: currency, name, rate, conversion, as of date and source.
- The Show currencies filter narrows the table to selected currencies
- An empty filter shows every currency
- The quotation date next to every rate

Any amount in the workshop currency
The Amount to convert field converts the amount for every currency in the table.
- Amount 1 by default, which is the rate itself
- Result in the Conversion column
- Useful with an offer from a supplier abroad

How a rate moved over 90 days
A chart for currencies with more than one quotation.
