01What it is
The fleet is the vehicles the workshop owns, each with a role: tow truck, courtesy car or service vehicle. A vehicle is roadworthy when it is active and has a valid roadworthiness test and insurance.
Only courtesy cars are lent to customers, with the odometer and fuel level recorded on loan and return. Tow trucks go out on roadside assistance calls.
The item shows in the menu when you tick that you run your own fleet in the workshop settings.

The fleet has three tabs: Vehicles, Costs and value (for people with access to finance) and Loans.

Tiles: workshop vehicles, roadworthy, needs attention, on loan.

Vehicle value and cost
For people with access to finance.

- Loan out a car: job, date, planned return, odometer, fuel, condition

04Tasks step by step
- STEP 1Open Modules › Extra services › Workshop fleet and add a vehicle.
- STEP 2Enter the model and registration, pick the Courtesy car role.
- STEP 3Fill in the test and insurance dates so the car is roadworthy.
- STEP 1In the Loans tab choose Loan out a car.
- STEP 2Pick the courtesy car and the customer's job, enter the odometer, fuel and planned return.
- STEP 1Choose Accept return and the active loan.
- STEP 2Enter the odometer, fuel and condition. The loan is closed.
